Sunday July 13

2:12 am – A San Francisco man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was held a few hours and released on a citation to appear in court.

2:10 pm – An officer responded to an alarm sounding at a business on Lincoln Avenue. The business was found to be secure.

10:06 pm – An officer responded to a residence on Foothill Boulevard for a theft report. The matter remains under investigation.

Monday July 14

8:52 am – An officer responded to a 911 hang-up on Foothill Boulevard. It was determined to be a misdial.

1:45 pm – An officer responded to a residence on Miriam Drive for a theft report. The matter is under investigation.

4:22 pm – A complaint was received regarding illegal construction on Mitzi. The matter was turned over to the Code Enforcement Officer.

Tuesday July 15

2:03 am – An officer on foot patrol located an open door to a business on Lincoln Avenue A representative was called to respond and lock up.

3:05 pm – An officer responded to a Foothill Boulevard address for a vehicle theft report. A trailer was taken. The matter is under investigation.

Wednesday July 16

7:07 am – A Calistoga man was arrested for driving without a driver’s license. He was released on a citation and his vehicle was impounded.

12:24 am – An officer took a hit and run vehicle accident report that had occurred on the Fourth of July.

3:08 pm – An officer took a vehicle vandalism report on North Oak. The victim’s car was vandalized and its interior was gone through.

10:02 pm – Officers responded to assist CHP with a vehicle accident that was heard south of town. A solo vehicle was located off the roadway into a vineyard south of Pickett Road. CHP responded to handle the report.

Thursday July 17

Officers responded to a report of a drunken subject who had bumped into a parked car, then run and hid in a second parked vehicle. The subject was arrested for being intoxicated in public. He was held for a few hours and released on a citation to appear in court.

6:20 am – An officer responded to a report of a commercial burglary report on Lincoln Avenue The matter is under investigation.

9:37 am – An officer responded to a residential alarm sounding on Greenwood Avenue The residence was found to be secure.

11:08 am – An officer took a burglary report at the High School. The matter is under investigation.

5:22 pm – An officer responded to a report of a neighbor dispute on Myrtle Street. The matter was determined to be civil in nature.

Friday July 18

1:38 am – An officer contacted a subject sleeping in their vehicle on Lincoln Avenue. They were given directions to the fairgrounds for camping.

8:08 am – Police responded to a report of suspicious noises heard on Mora Avenue.  It was determined to be tractors in a neighboring vineyard.

8:36 pm - An officer responded to a report of a tree branch hanging low into the roadway. A local tree service was contact to respond.

Saturday July 19

12:40 am – An officer was flagged down to check on loud music on Second Street. The responsible subject was contacted and agreed to turn it down.

2:34 am – An officer responded to a report of an intoxicated subject on Brannan Street. The subject was contacted and he left for the night.

6:43 am – Police responded to a report of a suspicious object on Silverado Trail near Brannan Street. The Napa County Bomb Squad was called out to dispose of the device.

7:46 pm – An officer responded to a report of an unknown alarm sounding on Foothill Boulevard. It was determined to be a sprinkler alarm.

9:33 pm – Police, fire and ambulance personnel responded to a report of a motorcycle versus a deer on Foothill Boulevard. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The deer was not so lucky.
