Food available for needy

Federal surplus foods, including corn and rice cereal, canned salmon, grapefruit juice, tuna, applesauce, and either spaghetti sauce or rice, will be distributed to low-income Napa County residents.  

The distribution schedule for Calistoga is Tuesday, Aug. 19, 10:30 to noon at the Community Presbyterian Church, Third and Washington streets.

Recipients may receive food once a month and must sign a form certifying that they are low income. Monthly income limits are: one person, $1,300; two people, $1,750; three people, $2,200; and four people, $2,650. For more information, call 253-6128.
