Sunday, August 3

10:04 a.m., An officer on patrol located a vehicle parked on View Road that had been previously reported stolen to the Clearlake Police. The owner was contacted to pick up the vehicle.

10:40 a.m., An officer took a burglary report on Carli Drive. A garage door was opened, and an expensive mountain bike was taken.

11:19 p.m., An officer took a report on Lincoln Avenue that threats had been made. The matter is under investigation.

Monday, August 4

11:42 p.m., An officer took a phone harassment report on Eddy Street. The matter is under investigation.

12:36 p.m., Officers responded to a report of an injury vehicle accident on Silverado Trail near Highway 29.

Tuesday, August 5

11:25 a.m., Officers responded to assist the California Highway Patrol with a major injury accident on Highway 128, west of town.

1:57 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a disoriented person on Foothill Boulevard. The subject was given a ride to their residence on Foothill Boulevard.

3:14 p.m., Fire units responded to a report of a tractor and barn fire on Palisades Road. The fire units were able to get the fire quickly under control.

4:35 p.m., An officer responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of a resort off Washington Street. The vehicle was unoccupied and its plates checked out satisfactorily.

6:26 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a vehicle accident on Washington Street. The drivers exchanged insurance information.

Wednesday, August 6

9:40 a.m., An officer assisted two drivers exchange insurance information following a non-injury accident on Petrified Forest Road.

11:20 a.m., An officer took a threats report on Lincoln Avenue.

12:27 p.m., Police and fire personnel responded to a grass and electrical fire on Myrtledale Road. The fire was quickly extinguished. PG&E was called to make repairs to the power lines.

8:27 p.m., An officer responded to assist a Napa Sheriff’s Deputy who was on a traffic stop with a vehicle that had been reported stolen. It turns out that the thieves had taken the plates off the stolen vehicle, and placed them on a vehicle belonging to someone else.

9:33 p.m., An officer responded to another report of threats on Anna Street. The suspect was taken into custody on two felony charges including false imprisonment and domestic threats, and booked into the county jail.

August 7

4:42 p.m., An officer assisted a resident on Arch Way with a civil matter. They were referred to the proper authorities.

8:45 p.m., Officers responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a Lincoln Avenue business. The interior was checked and found to be clear. A representative was called to lock the door.

11:16 p.m., Officers responded to a business on Lincoln Avenue for a report of a fight between two customers. The subjects were contacted and agreed to quiet down.

Friday, August 8

10:06 a.m., Officers responded to a Lake Street residence for a report of an alarm sounding. The residence was checked and found to be secure.

3:25 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a juvenile making applesauce using the time-honored method of breaking the apples against the neighbors car. The juvenile would not come to the door for comment, but the parents were advised of the complaint.

4:01 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a non-injury vehicle accident on Lincoln Avenue near Washington Street.

11:24 p.m., An officer took a report of an item gone missing from a vehicle on Cedar Street.

Saturday, August 9

12:08 a.m., An officer responded to a report of a fight brewing on the sidewalk of Lincoln Avenue near Washington Street. The responsible subjects were gone on arrival.

10:05 a.m., An officer responded to a report of an illegally parked vehicle on Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle was located and issued a parking citation.

10:36 a.m., An officer responded to a report of a subject working on a vehicle on Mitzi Drive playing their music too loud. The responsible party was located and advised of the complaint.

12:43 p.m., An officer responded to assist employees at the Napa County Fairgrounds in getting a camper to move to the properly designated camping spaces. Apparently the camper took the request more seriously from a person with a badge than a person in a Randy Tiner T-shirt.

6:59 p.m., An officer responded to a loud music complaint on Myrtle Street. The individual responsible was contacted and turned it down.
