Sunday, June 21

9:24 a.m., An officer responded to a report of a vehicle driving recklessly on Washington Street. The vehicle was gone from the area.

3:35 p.m., An officer responded to a disturbance on View Road. The matter was settled for now.

4:34 p.m., An officer responded to a disturbance at a local hotel. Some guests didn’t want to go along with the program. They were counseled and agreed to straighten up.

10:42 p.m., An officer responded to a Third Street residence for a loud music complaint. The responsible party was contacted and turned it down.

11:22 p.m., A Santa Rosa resident was cited for possession of marijuana.

Monday, June 22

3:14 p.m., Police, fire and ambulance personnel responded to a vehicle accident on Highway 29 near Tubbs Lane. An Air-Ambulance was dispatched and transported the patient to the hospital for treatment.

7:21 a.m., An officer responded to a vehicle accident on Foothill Boulevard. Three vehicles were found blocking the roadway. The roadway was cleared and a report was taken.

11:43 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a DUI driver on Foothill Boulevard. The vehicle was located, and the driver was determined to be sober.

Tuesday, June 23

12:32 p.m., An officer took a suspicious subject report in Calistoga Springs. The matter is under investigation.

5 p.m., An officer took a grand theft report on Third Street. A bicycle was taken from a yard on Third Street.

7:28 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Washington Street. One subject was taken into custody and booked into county jail.

11:25 p.m., An officer assisted the CHP in an auto theft report in the county.

Wednesday, June 24

3:12 p.m., CHP and fire units responded to a report of a chemical spill on Mount St. Helena. It was determined to be harmless.

5:18 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a subject taking recyclables from the blue bins left on the curb by residents on Fairway Vista Court. The subject was gone from the area on arrival.

5:27 p.m., An officer responded to a barking dog complaint on School Street. The owner was eventually contacted and the matter was solved.

Thursday, June 25

12:01 a.m., An officer contacted four subjects east of the Little League field on Washington Street. It was determined they had vandalized several trailers and an electrical box with spray paint and pens. They were all taken into custody. The three adults were booked into county jail and one subject was booked into juvenile hall. Several hundreds of dollars worth of damage was located. (See report on page A7.)

12:07 p.m., A wallet was turned in to the police, which had been left at a local gas station. The owner was contacted and made arrangements to pick up his property.

4:17 p.m., An officer took a felony threats report on Aurora Street. The responsible was eventually located and taken into custody. He was booked into county jail on threats and a parole violation.

8:44 p.m., A Fairfield man was taken into custody for theft, vandalism and trespassing after he was discovered on the property of a local hotel, attempting to steal items. He was later released on a citation to appear in court.

Friday, June 26

7:48 p.m., An officer responded to a loud music complaint on Washington Street. The owner of the vehicle was located and turned down the music.

9:10 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a disturbance at a local hotel. All subjects involved declined police reports.

Saturday, June 27

9:58 p.m., An officer responded to a disturbance on Lincoln Avenue. The two subjects were contacted and sent their separate ways.

6:47 p.m., An officer responded to a report of a vehicle parked on Fairway near Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle was determined to have a mechanical problem. A tow truck responded to assist the vehicle.
