Liberal creed Dear Editor, With the calls for bailing out the automotive industry, I am reminded of President Reagan’s summary of liberal government policies. “If it moves, tax it, if it continues to move regulate it, if it stops moving, subsidize it… Respect the games, and the refs Dear Editor, I am writing this letter to all of the parents who take part — and especially those who sign up to lead — children’s sports teams. My son and his best friend decided this fall to try their hand at referee soccer games in the Napa Youth Soccer League (NYSL). They are both 12 years old, which is the minimum age of a referee. They have both played soccer for the NYSL for the past four or five years and thought this would be a fun way to keep involved in soccer.
